Photo Challenge #2 Winners

First I'd like to thank everyone who participated in Photo Challenge #2. We had a lot of really good entries, and I can tell everyone is getting better since Photo Challenge #1. It was a very tough decision picking a winner. I asked a few friends that are into photography for help and they agreed that the competition was stiff.

I decided to give the following prizes to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. It's not much, but I know you can never have enough memory.
1st place - 1GB SD Memory Card
2nd place - 512MB Compact Flash Card
3rd place - 256MB SD Memory Card

Note to ECACE:
Congrats on your win, and now you have the baton for the next challenge. Your job is to come up with an interesting topic for photo challenge #3, and post it as photo challenge 1 and 2 were posted. Make sure the topic is something that everyone is able to participate in. For example, don't pick "Mountains" because we don't all live around them. Also, pick a length of time you would like the challenge to run. 1-2 weeks seems to work well.

Thank you very much for selecting one of my photos as 1st place. I have never entered any kind of photo contest before, so this was quite a surprise and honor.

Glad I didn't have to judge it Chembrat. There sure were alot of nice photos turned in. The prizes were very nice and thoughtful also.

Can't wait to see what your contest format is going to be Ecace. nice going on the 1st place win.

I just want to second this comment and say to the future challenge holders to please don't feel required to post prizes with the challenges. I would be just as happy without a prize as I would with one, and I think we'll get the same amount of participation either way. This is a great learning tool, and that in itself is more than enough reason to want to participate.
