Fools Gold
Hello fella Dowsers:
Here is a tip; worth remembering if you are searching for gold with your dowsing instrument, I had to learn this the hard way, when I first starting to search for gold,I would phrase my question this way when I was checking some streams(creeks) out for the possibility of gold flakes or nuggets,(I was map dowsing) I would say "is there any gold flakes in this stream"? Well I got a big yes, I was getting excited now, so using the wand I said search and pinpoint the exact spot in this stream that is directly above the area where the gold flakes reside,Well the wand indicated two likely places, I took my pan and went to these locations, there was one place that had a lot of black sand, well I started panning and got something that looked like it might be gold!!!! Man,I thought I has hit the mother load, after loading a small bucket with the black sand and what I thought was gold flakes I headed for home, well to make a long story short,I took a piece of the shiny stuff and mashed it with my fingers,it turned to dust,I had a bucket with black sand and "FOOLS GOLD" dg2 rofl So this is a lesson of what I mean by stating your questions, they must be precise and to the point, after I saw my mistake I re phrased the question I said is there any "REAL"Gold in this stream,I got a big no ,when I said any gold the wand showed me the fools gold--lesson learned--This is the beauty of dowsing say you are a gold prospector and you are looking over a new stream or river,If you learn how to dowse you can find out if there is any gold in the stream or river,it would save you lots of time if you were panning in a stream or river and no gold in it -BERT-BERT
