I was invited along on a camping trip with two friends on a piece of family property that once had a mill on it..
I took both my detectors so they would have a chance to work the area.
Place was great, old boiler was still in place all covered with brush. I was letting them detect, giving advice as needed and just having a good time watching two men in their 40s return to childhood. We were finding a lot of old hand forged tools, sections of chain etc.
This one area away from where we were working kept going "PSSSSST Bob over here"
I took one of the guys over to the spot and with in two swings he got a hit.
1944 silver quarter about 3 inches down. Amazing part is that was the only thing we found in that entire area.
