Default Dowsing ?

Hey ya'll!I've gotta question, beings that I'm very new to this type of treasure hunting.I'm embarking on a possible treasure site and was wondering.I know that Lrods and wands pick up on water, but they also pick up on 'treasure' too,so here's the questin I have.I dowsed a topo map of the area I'm looking into, asking if the treasure was there, getting a no I moved down some and asked again, gotta no,I continued until I got a yes, asked once more and got another yes.....ANYwaaaaay,it was giving me a yes in a river,if I go to the location to try to find it,will it JUST pick up on the water or will it give me the location in the river where the treasure lays?I'm not exactly sure how to 'pinpoint' on the map dowsing either so maybe someone could help me on that too. Thanks so much for any help or info anyone can share with me concerning this

Hi, SCGold. I am no expert but we have a couple members who are.

Take a look around in our Dowsing section. There is a lot of information there that might provide you with the answer you seek!

Depends on what you were asking exactly. When you are dowsing, you have to ask questions and you have to be specific. You can't just ask if there is a treasure at a location...You have to be specific as to what type of treasure you are looking for. Example: Gold, Silver, Gold Coins, Gold Bars, Silver Coins, Silver Bars, Water, Paper Money...etc.etc. If you are just asking about treasure...I doubt very seriously that there is anything there.....Your concentration must NOT be broken during the dowsing session and like I say...You must ask for specifics.

HELLO Gold:
Pappy is right you have to be specific about what you are searching for, if you are looking for gold,it can be gold rings, gold coins etc and if you have a map of the area the way I do it is first I ask please check out the area of this map for gold which will include gold coins, rings etc,my Pendulum will start the clockwise motion, move the pendulum around the map while it is circling in the clockwise motion, when it stops the clockwise motion and starts the up and down motion"which means waiting for question" ask is there any gold in the area of this map,if the Pendulum starts the clockwise motion which means yes there is gold in this area, if the pendulum goes counterclockwise "meaning no" there is no gold in the area, the pendulum will then go back to the up and down motion meaning waiting for question. then using some kind of pointer in your left hand (pencil, nail or whatever that has a sharp end on it so you can hold it and the pointed end will point down to the map) then say search the area of this map with this pointer and mark the exact spot that is directly above the "gold or whatever you are searching for,the pendulum will start the search mode "back and forth direction" move the pendulum over the map while its in the search mode when it locks on the target it will start going clockwise when it stops going clockwise it will start the up and down motion,in the search mode this up and down motion is direction of travel, now using the pointer follow the way the pendulum is pointing and keep going in that direction, watch the action of pendulum and when you are over the target with the pointer the pendulum will give you clockwise ROTATION meaning "yes' you are at the target,if the gold is in the river you will have to figure how to get to the spot---I hope this helps-----BERT--BERT
