Talking Dowsing

I use 2 rods, tried to find maybe a gold coin at ol' Virginia City dump. I did find gold but it was a piece of broken plate with gold on it, and 2 pieces of smashed cheap jewelry. Next I went to 1 of the mines and my rods went crazy. lol, I was still new at this and was just playing around. Later the ol' timer that taught me this said it was because the area is full of fine gold.
But it did work lol. I can find silver too
