Default PRACTISING finding items

To all you novice dowsers, when practicing on finding an item that you have your wife or someone else hide it for you,to be successful in your search for it you must first ask permission from the person that hid it for you ,because when a person hides something they don't want it to be found except by themselves,I found this out when I had my wife hide her wedding ring and I tried to find it and was not successful in finding it,then I remembered that you have to ask the higher power for permission to dowse(may I,can I,should I) Now I thought if someone hides something, if I asked the persons permission to find what they hid, maybe I would be successful . you should have seen the expression on her face when I asked if I could get her permission,She thought I had lost my mind,I then placed my left hand in her left hand and holding my dowsing wand in my right hand I asked her for permission to find the item that she hid,she said I give you permission, the wand in my right hand starting circling clockwise meaning yes,now I don't have any trouble finding the gold wedding ring she hides, but you have to ask permission every time they hide the item-----BERT--BERT

This raises and interesting question. 'If a pirate for example hid a pile of loot, he wouldn't want anyone to find it except himself, correct? Now if said pirate were to be hung before retrieving that loot, would you be able to douse it? If the person is no longer alive does permission still need to be given?

Default Permission

Hello BDAHUNTER:
IF someone, like the pirates,or anyone else hid a cache of treasure and they are dead, you can dowse and find where they hid their treasure, getting permission only applies to living persons-----BERT--BERT

I just may have to do a bit of dowsing then. I already feel that I do a bit when I'm hunting and conditions are off, at that point everything I know about loot distribution, wave patterns, volume of donors, etc. doesn't do me much good. That's when I shut down my logical thought patterns and just follow my feelings to the loot. This isn't a foolproof method because sometimes none of the loot is in range so even though I feel drawn to an area, my detector can't pick anything up. I've found myself coming back to the same spot over and over, despite the fact that my Excal gives me zero readings. It makes me wonder what's down there, beyond my detecting range of 24".
Next time I get that feeling I'm going to fan away a big section, then hit it again with the Excal.

Cheers,

BDA
I have got the feeling on occassion that there was something good but it also felt bad and I didn't want to dig there. Not being superstitious but I've seen enough wierd stuff in my life to know that when I get that 'bad' feeling I get away from whatever the source of it is.

Very interesting info...BDA - I'm the same way about acting on "feelings"...I've learned to listen to them (especially when they're telling me NOT to do something....)

The last couple of weeks I just haven't had the urge to HUNT. I don't get the feeling that there is much out there to find at the moment, close but not quite there yet. I went out for a quick hunt this weekend and had a not too close encounter with a shark which spoiled the hunt for me as well as turning in my first 'skunk' of the year. The loot is getting within range soon, I can feel it coming. Very late this year, except in spots I can't seem to get to at the moment do to circumstance.
So much loot in Mother Ocean but you have to be patient, she's a lot more patient than me I must confess.

Cheers,

I certainly hope we can still make our planned trip to Bermuda...it will be good to drink a couple of cold ones and talk over stuff!

The fly in the ointment appears to be that my daughter has herself "stuck" in Canada...her DL has expired, she has no passport and is trying to work for cash to avoid complications, etc...we MAY have to fly to Maine...drive over the border and bring her back to the US...get her a new DL, a passport etc...so she can go back to NB and apply to legally live in Canada...(I'll have to pay for EVERYTHING, of course!)if so - that will use up a lot of my Bermuda cash...we'll see though - my financial advisor (Peg) has surprised me with generosity before!!
