Checks in the mail. Dont know squat bout dowsing but I've found water line's & sewer lines with some homemade rods. I'll probably wool ya to death till I get this figgered out or quit.

ok. ive always been curious about this. what do they do point to metal and you walk were they point?

ERIC, No they won't point but what they do when you walk and come in contact with a electromagnetic field, they either cross or seperate. At that point you stop and mark that spot. You then back off and approach that spot again from two other directions and mark each of those spots that the rods either cross or seperate and dig accordingly after the trianglelation point is determined...NOW, are you totally confused???...PAPPY

6.Map Dowsing

Well oh great and wise and powerful Pappy let's study these one at a time. no sense in doing a sensory overload. Lately I've been very interested in the possibilities of the L rods. You sound like you have some experience in this field. Does the metal they are made of really make a difference and have you actually used the L rods to recover a target without the use of a metal detector. Or is it just a tool to narrow your search to a particular point. I must say Pappy a huge thank you to you for showing me the way to this forum. This really is a diamond in the rough. I also find this forum an amazing start on where to start. Please keep feeding me the info. as I'm eating it up. If I ask too much of you or this forum I'm sorry. I just hope I can in the future give as much to the next generation and teach my son how it's done as you people have given to me. Thank you so much. Jason
