Does it work well on the beach?

Hi Pappy,

Detecting on the beach is different than other spots.
Would this dowsing rod work on the beach also?

There always alot of objects buries in the sand including cans and junk.

But I would be interested in trying dowsing while detecting.

I am currently working on a spot that was a military post during WWII on Galveston island.
It is abandoned and they recently tore down the building and took down the No Tresspass signs. So it is 100% legal to detect there.
Thought maybe the dowsing rods would help.

This is the spot where I keep finding the bottles and wheat pennies.
