Default I have a question.

I made a set of rods, and have taken them out a few times and the question I have is do you concentrate on ONE specific coin, lets say a walking lib, or do you concentrate on just coins in general. This really interests me, and I believe it will work if I can get the finer points down pat. If you are, lets say looking for a cash of coins. Do you, in your minds eye, concentrate on a group of coins, or the container that the coins are in. Do you invision a mason jar with blank face coins inside? These are the things I want to work on in order to learn this portion of our hobby. Thanks in advance for your help on this.

Default vision

when im using my rods i get on one corner of the property i want to search, i hold my rods out in a search mode and if im looking for a cache of coins, any coins, i ask the rods if there is a cache of coins that are buried on this property. if i get no response, i ask the rods are there lost coins on this lot. if i get a responce from that, i ask the rods to point in a straight direction of that coin.i do this while im holding one rod down toward the ground and the other in a search mode. once the rod has pointed the direction, i bring both rods into search mode and ask the rods to cross while i walk on the path of the coin. once they cross then stop and use your metal detector to pinpoint coin, dig, dig. becareful with what you dig with ,you dont want to scratch an old coin. hope this helps ,got to run, catbird
