BEAR, Rods are naturally attracted to water and larger deposits of iron and rust.
You need to get your concentration factor in mind and keep it there when dowsing. It's hard to do BUT try to think of only what you are hunting for.
Dowsing is a science and you have to keep the mental aspect in mind at all times.
You can actually go across water and iron and have your rods work in the very opposite that they are supposed to. Practice across the water and keep a negative thought for water in you mind and see if the rods don't expand instead of crossing.
Get you some good dowsing books at the library and study them and you will see what I am trying to get at....PAPPY
