I personally have not used any pinpointer other than the VibraProbe 560. Therefore I am unable to compare it to any other pinpointer. I have to say, however, that I would not be detecting without the VibraProbe by my side. It makes target recovery so much faster and easier. The VibraProbe is very rugged and is waterproof up to 30 feet - it makes cleaning it with a hose so easy. I hope this helps.

I still like my trusty Tinytec, had it for about 15 years and put it through quite a bit. I do plan on getting a Vibra Probe once I hear some reviews on it to use for water hunting, if I like it, which I'm sure I will, I may have to retire my reliable Tinytec
