Default Caution

I read another article that says folks are polishing off the edge and trying to pass them off as error coins. Anything for a buck......

Hmmmm, I hate to say it but that sounds pretty easy. I would never buy one of those without seeing it in person then. I really am thinking about going down to the bank to buy a bunch. I mean why not. Might be my lucky day.

I was thinking that myself but was afraid to say it. After considering this, I looked at the one that I have here and the edge lettering is pretty deep. It seems that you would lose an awful lot of the coin's edge by polishing those letters off. We'll have to wait and see how this story turns out. I am curious...

Default Error coin sold for 612.00

Hi Guys and Gals, Here is a pic of the coin, with no edge lettering for those that haven't seen one. I'm the lucky B---tard that found them. There are now 13 on e-bay It will be fun to see how much they go for.
Happy hunting
Chicago Ron

How many in a roll?

*edit
Never mind, 25 in a roll. Going to go buy 2 rolls today. I figure, why not? This is the best type of coin hunting because no matter what, you never lose money doing it.

Well I bought 2 rolls. Nothing good.....as I figured. Then when somewhere else and bought a roll of quarters, nothing good. Then got a 58 wettie in change from the store. So at least I did not get completely skunked.
