I quit about 6 months ago (for the 3rd time in 25 years) I understand what you are going through. I realized that trying not to think about smoking didnt work. I have learned to embrace my cravings when they happen....I just dont do anything. I listen to myself telling me that it would be ok to have just one and how easy it would be to go to the store and get a pack or borrow one from someone. After a few minutes I realize that I havent done anything and my craving is gone. Maybe that will work for you. Cravings do only last for a few minutes.
Good luck to you... ![]() |

I quit 8 yrs ago. glad i did. I found that in order to quit you have to do it for yourself and that you are sure you want to, you can't go at it half-heartedly. I got tired of lying to myself. You have to do it an hour at a time, a day at a time, a week at a time, etc. But you can do it !!! And don't look back. Best of luck on your new challenge.

Congrats to all who are trying to / have quit. Best of luck to you.
Just think of how much $ you would save not smoking! Take that same $ and drop it in a bucket. After a year, you would probably have enough to buy a new detector! Best of luck all, Eric |
