Default Flying deer

Yesterday our neighbor who drives an older bronco , that sits up high, was driving down our road, when she heard an explosion come from the back seat of her vehicle. When she turned around their was a deer kicking around. She didn't even see it coming, it jumped thru her back passenger side window, shattering it of course. The deer dies within mins, she had no injuries....just one heck of a story to tell. Thank goodness she had no children in that back seat.
Those flying deer can be very dangerous.

Default Flying or Jumping?

We were coming back from my sister's house in East Texas right before Christmas two years ago and had a deer (a big doe) drop down in front of us.. I swerved to try to miss it but caught it with the right hand corner of my wifes truck and it went airborne again. The section of road when we hit it was cut out of a steep hill with embankments up both sides and all I can figure was that it jumps down while we were passing through.

Being one not to waste stuff, the deer ended up in the back of the truck, we turned around and went back to my sisters and the deer got dressed out while I was replacing the bulb in my headlight. The side I clipped was barely damaged since I clipped it about midway. Needless to say, we had deer for a while after words for dinner..

Just the other day, while coming back from helping my brother in law lay some vinyl, another one jumped in front of us in almost the exact spot, but we managed to miss it.

has any one tried to lasoe one of those flying dear yet. here in sc we have several people killed every year by deer coming through side windows. i reckon they are ziggin when they should be zaggin. my life time deer count is better than my clad count. 2 with 30-30.... 5 with 30-06.... 7 with automobiles. plus i am down 2 chevy s-10s a ford bronco that wasnt mine and a mazda hatch back. i think deer have a KAMIKAZE complex.
