Default Unsolved murder detecting site

I recently put an offer on a house here in Florida. The sellers disclosure stated there was a woman murdered in 2006. I went online to see if I could find out what the circumstances were. The news article said she was stabbed repeatedly and left to die. Very sad.
My friend knows a sherrif here and told me that the perpitrator was never caught but they believe it was someone close to her looking for valubles etc. The house was not completely ransacked police believe that what ever the person was looking for was not found. As we discussed it my friend said I should metal detect around the yard, who knows what might be buried there. Who knows maybe even solve the crime!!!!!!!

I will be closing on the house some time next week. I was there for the home inspection last Tuesday. One of the sons came by. He was the one who found his mother. He told the inspector and I the whole story. It was even worse than I thought. If nothing else I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we find something that will lead to an arrest. The only thing the police have is a set of finger prints, but no matches for them..... Will keep all posted!!! Scotty

Default Scene of the crime

Well I moved in on June 18th after some major renovations. I had a friend of mine who is a metal detecting enthusiast run my detector over the back yard. Nothing to speak of.
Here's the update. The Crime scene unit came out to take measurements of the house and surrounding area. From there they put it on an Auto-Cad program. With it they can place everything they found and re-enact the crime. It's quite facinating. The Sheriff's have their ideas of who done it, but can't elaborate as it is an on going case.
More to follow for sure!!!! Scotty

Hey Scotty, where abouts is your house. I have a piece of property in Vero, near Dodgertown, on 26th st. Been thinking about selling it, if I can get my partner to go along with it. Been waiting for it to go up. What is the property values around there now. I have not been there for a few years. [Long story for later]

Sure hope you get that mystery solved, that would help the MD'ing community.
Good Luck & HH
Earl
