Thumbs up Thank you mother nature

Finally having a normal winter in the 'ole Chicago area. Looked bad in January as the weather warmed up but she came back with a vengeance so I have been able to get more ice fishing in this winter than the last 3 years combined

Alas, the fishies in my areas aren't exactly giants (I let them go anyway)

Poor quality youtube link. Not sure if it is the water clarity or my camera that creates the *ugh* video.

YouTube - Horsetail (CCFP) Gills

With a high of 16 and 18 the next few days, I think I'll be ice fishing at least another week

I havent been fishin since about 2 hours ago when I fed Bubba.Bubba looks just like the fish in the first photo and is about the same size.I have him in a 50 gal. tank with some crawdads.I've been feeding them liverworst and they love it.I tryed canned salmon and they just spit it out.So ya might want to try some liverworst next time for bait.It would make great bait if ya think about it cuz you could also use it to make a sandwitch if ya got hungry out there on the ice.
