Hey, I was just wondering if there are coil cover available for the F-2 coils. I've been trying to locate them, but have not been successful.
Thanks everyone!

Coil covers are nice if you wanna keep your coils free from scratches and want a nice pic for resale but otherwise they are overrated for average use in my opinion. If we bang our coils up against rocks and trees the windings are going to be displaced before the coil wears through.I'd be real careful how we treat the coil wires and how many times we use our foot to help reset the coil angle which i'm guilty of .
Coils covers are the least of our problems and a very minor accessory in my opinion and just a general statement on coil cover value.HH Bill |

I would agree with Bill. I picked up a couple but I tend to be a little rough, I detect scuffing the ground alot wether or not its gravel, sand, or rocks. My coil hits objects alot. My thoughts are its mostly for asthetics and may savea fluke coil break otherwise a hard knock will do its damage to the coil, cover or no. Another thing is all coil covers are over priced in my estimation. Even though I just bought two for my f4, its funny too because I have 3 of the same 8" coil for two detectors a 4" and the 11" DD. Only the DD really needs one. The 4" coil is beefy. My 2 cents.
