I recently acquired this detector and would like to get more information as to how to set it up properly.

Excuse my ignorance but what is LF 930D. I'm not aware of it. HH Bill

This was a beginners type machine put out by Fisher in the mid 1980's. I owned two back then that I won in Treasure hunts. It was a vlf/tr. You can probably get the instruction manual either from Fisher or Keith Wills. Hope this has helped! Joe
