Having got back into detecting i came up with this 1236x2 dtector by Fisher and would like comments on its performance. I have used it now for a total of 4 hours and at different locations but primarily at parks for now as well as my 5 acres.
I have found over 30 coins

alas ALL clad. Pennys and dimes have hit as deep as 9 inches which running in the disc 3rd level seems really deep to me. Never had a detector and i owned both bounty hunter compass and RS units of the 70's that went deeper than 4 inches before. Seems im doing something right at least. Even those older models paid for themselves within 6 months of use.
So i really would like to hear form others on this detectors setting ie disc number to disc alum vs nickel etc.
Thanks agin greg for this site too!!!
