Default broke $100 coin find with ace 250

I've been having my ace 250 for about a month and a half and broke the $100 coin find with it today at the local school. about 8 wheat cents but can barly make out dates. The only silver coin was a 1952 quarter and it was not even in the ground. It was on the limestone driveway in front of the school. I have quite a few hrs. in these finds. I averaged about $2.50 an hr. but I would have never thought there was that much money in the ground there. Later Kent

Default Out of the Loop

Hi Folks,
It sure makes me feel good to see how confused homosapiens can be over the dreaded words: " WHAT DETECTOR WILL I BUY "
I'm not a new-beeeeee, but it has been a while. I'm not looking for your help so much as time to just keep reading your great reviews & responses to different detectors.
As we know it all depends on what your going to use your detector for.
Right now, here is where I am: More interested in jewelry than coins. ( Parks Houses Schools)
White's: M6
White's: MXT
Garrett: Infinium LS
MineLab: Explorer SE.... Looks good but harder to learn like the DFX or so it seems in reviews.
Quick Question: Do any of you folk find gold chains ??? I see so little recovery in photos and there must be loads of them out there.

My gut feeling is I'll end up with an M6 - Bigfoot and a Good set of head phones to start off.... Then will see what happens.
I thinks the next 10yrs. are going to blow us all away with advancements in this industry. The detectors today will be like the film camera.
Thanks for reading & your great forum...I do enjoy......Bob
