Default salt water beach

Has anyone used the ACE 250 on the Atlantic coast beaches. someone asked me if this is a good detector for the beach and I really did not have a good answer for him. Any thoughts on this for me will be appreciated.

Well Johnj45586 on this site uses his on the West coast all the time. He has very good luck with it, so I am sure you could do the same on the East, Beale.

As far as I can tell this fine machine should work well in dry sand. JC

I've used mine alot on east coast beaches. It is great in the dry sand, good in wet sand at lower descrimination. I do not use it in the salt water at all. Beaches are my favorite places to hunt!

Default should work well

in the dry and the damp... stay out of surf because the auto groundbalance goes nuts. the salt water wont hurt the coil but the machine just has hard time dealing with the brine. hope this helps

Smile Thanks

I copied these replys to my daughter since my Grandson has decided he wants a metal detector for Christmas. They live about 45 minutes from Wildwood and the Jersey shore. I do know that the ACE 250 is a hot item here in the Pgh,Pa area but I was not sure how it worked on the beaches.

Thanks again for the help.
