Good for you Pap, I'm quite sure you will like the new machine. I have heard nothing but good reports about it.

I was looking into the ace250 where on the Internet is a good place to get one? What kind of warrantee does it come with? I was thinking if I buy the discovery from Radioshack they will most likely try to sell me an extended warrantee. This would probably increase price buy about 50.00.

Gregory, I sent some e-mails to a few dealers from your links and will await contact from them. I figure 212.00 is not a bad deal for that ACE250. Heck after tax and all from Radioshack I’m over 212.00.

Appreciate your reply…

Geo777; HI, The price of 212.46 is 15% off the retail price of 249.95. They have a two year warranty. And are one of Garrett's top sellers. So you can't go wrong with the ACE. NO SALES TAX IN OREGON

Rocker, thanks for your input. I think I’m now going with this ACE250. Having read many threads on this forum it appears this machine is awesome.

One last question pertaining to the ACE250. Does anybody know if it is possible for me a view the manual (online) for this machine? I thought it would be a good idea to become familiar with the ACE even though I don’t own one yet….

Thank You
