treasure ace 300?

I've found one new in box with headphones for 179. Are these good detectors? I was going for the ace 250, till I found this. Are there any big differences between the two?

PAy the extra little bit and get the Ace250. The early Ace series were not very good.

Ace 250 is a great machine. Go with it if you can afford it. No sense of buying the other model and being sorry. Good luck whatever you decide. JoAnne

Ace 250, if it's in your budget.

sly i thought so too. i just got my ace 250 i love it.

I rented one of these machines.The ace 300 has one knob and one tone they are ok if you learn that knob I found a couple of pennies in a park also found a whole bunch of trash!!

Sly, the Treasure Ace's are older machines... don't let the "300" fool you. Go for the Ace250.... if you absolutely want something cheaper, I would buy an Ace150 before I went with the 300.
