Bald Eagle Appreciation
This is a little off subject but not really. I was out this evening detecting a very remote very old farm down in a huge Hemlock bottom. As I was working my way along an old stone fence going up the ridge. All of a sudden I heard a crash and snaping noise right above me. I looked up an there it was. My very first Bald eagle sighting and a very mature "Huge" Eagle at that, only 10 feet away. It was like the bird was interested in what he was seeing and I was doing. We looked each other right in the eye. He bllinked and flew up out of the tree's. As I was walking out. I noticed that he was still flying very low all around me as I made it all the way back to the car. What a beautiful bird!
