Default Looking COOL

Okay, I would like to ask if anyone has any suggestions for looking "cool" while I am wearing headphones, swinging a stick around, while I'm wearing a carpenter's toolbelt on one side and a sheathed trowel on the other. Something tells me this is a fashion faux pas. I just went to the park and had about 5 people walk by and stare at me like I was from Ork!

Maybe I could wear flippers and a funny hat to complete the look. Any suggestions?

Ok Pris ...here's what I like to do, believe me they will forget all about the detecting equipment and silly headphones...wear short shorts and spaghetti strapped shirt. LOL And when you go to the beach, shorts and bikini top

I really don't dress that way when detecting , OK I do wear the beach attire at the beach.

Just a thought.

I guess I have just never understood why people are so concerned how other people view them. There are times you "dress to impress", there are times you dress for yourself.

You want to get serious looks, pull on a pair of daisy dukes, tie a button down shirt around your midriff, pull your hair back in ponytail and just smile while swinging that stick around....

Talking Atire

Try a pair of baggy bermuda shorts with argyle socks and penny loafers, an eye shocking Hawaiian shirt and south of the border straw hat...

They won't know what to think!

Default Thanks All

for your nice responses. I do think that the fun I have way outweighs what I think anyone thinks. I mean, I'm pullin' MONEY out of the ground for goodness sake! A bikini wouldn't hurt though huh, Indy?
