Default Call me lazy,

I do have a less than perfect left knee. I tried out my new invention while giving the detector it's first outing. It works great.

I made a walking stick about waist high with a T handle. On the bottom is a 1/4" rod that sticks out about 4". Above the rod is a plate that keeps the stick from going into the ground. When I get a signal, I can mark the spot with tip, scratch sticks away etc. then stick it in the ground to hold it. After kneeling down I use the stick to assist getting back up on my feet. It really takes a load off the knees.

Hey Jeff,my buddy Danback (who realy need's to post more here ) has a bad knee and he took a cane, the type that has a forearm support and atached one of his kid's old sneakers to the bottom. This seams to work well for him,the sneaker keeps the end from sinking into the mud,but he leaves some very wierd and puzzilin tracks !

My knee isn't terrible, just no ACL. I figure give it a break. Most of the time I don't notice, but after all day of up and down I can feel it.

Default I tried it

I had bad knees and tried the walking stick and the cane. Both helped imensely.

An old friend would not use one and suffered for a few months than I got him to try it. Works great. His problem was being too proud to use a stick.

I do not use one anymore, I went and got rid of 50 pounds of belly and A$$. Now absoluty no knee pain.
