Default Going To Tampa Fl.

After Key West. April 3rd-5th. Will be at Tampa for 3 days. Going to Bush Gardens with the family. Also going to take my detector and do some detecting. Does anyone know the area or give me some advice on where I can go either beaches or parks etc. Also if anyone lives around the area I would love to do a hunt with you. I have a whites DFX. Thanks in advance.

Hi smartfox, I hope you enjoyed your vacation in Tampa, I also have a White's DFX and I'm still trying to figure out all it's functions. Any advice would be appreciated.

Default Looking For A MD'ing Buddy

I am a veteran hobbiest (old) I am moving to Tampa sometime this fall. I will be looking to make new friends, especially a metal detecting buddy. I will be living very close to MacDill AFB as I am retired from the Air Force.
We are in Washington State at the present. Will will be hauling some household goods down the first week in August and will have a week there to fool around. I probably won't get any detecting done on that visit.
If you are looking for someone to detect with please keep me in mind, my email address: nwthings2@yahoo.com
