Default Detecting On The Sandbar

I ended up finding like 80 cents on the sandbar at the keys. Has anyone ever had luck finding something good at the sandbar?

Cool Not yet!

Sounds like a neat hangout on the beach though......LOL
Actually I have not had to oportunity to hunt a sand bar. I can see that the location could be promising, especially in the right location.

Last year took my dad down to a local sandbar to get him ready for detecting on the beach in Florida..he came away with a handfull of change and after I dug what seems like 200 pop tabs i found a nice men's gold nugget and diamond ring...I knew the sandbar's on the local river here would be a great place cause all the yr's i've been to them i've never seen anyone with a detector but saw plenty of drunks...lol...keep hunting cause when that last beer tab or pop tab seems too many it could be gold...HH
