Default Came To My School

They had told me it was a teacher work day and when I came no one was here so I came and did some catch up work at the computer and then guess what I did next? Of course I detected for 2 hours at the school ground Total: Quarters-6 Dimes-14 Nickels-6 Pennies-24 for a total of $3.44. I also found some kind of silverish what looks like a tongue ring or something. I do not know of it is my detector or just not lucky. I always find a lot of coins. Must have about 50 or 60 dollars since I started but I rarely find rings and stuff like that. I guess I just need to go to beaches more often. On Saturday I am going to hit that catholic school I've been talking to you about that was built in 1926. wish me luck

Good luck smartfox ! Sounds like your doing good with the clad.(50-60 bucks back that you payed for your detecter ! ) I dont find much jewelry myself, but i dont usualy dig thouse type signals and live far from any beaches. If you want to find old coins ya need to hunt old places,so the catholic school should be good.

Default Thanks guys

I did find 2 kids gold rings at 2 different parks and my son lost one about 3 months back within 4 days spread. Might go to the beach today but I started having a few drinks and my wife has a big project for me (redoing the chairs with some cloth she bought so it seems like I am here for the night then I start work tomorrow. Anyways 2 hours of detecting is a lot eventhough I can do more if possible.

For sure I am going to call my old catholic school and be over there this saturday and am going to rest good and do 3 to 4 hours of serious detecting and come back some other time if they let me. I am excited. Going to see the old pics because things have changed and hopefully start an indianhead penny collection
