Exclamation When Technology stumbles on Mysticism - I need opinions

Several months ago, I posted a similar situation to the one I'm about to describe. However, this is a more intriguing experience. So, I’ll appreciate any comments on the subject.

2 weeks ago, ‘Manuel’ came to my business looking for me, ‘Manuel’ is a person I’ve seen all my life, but I never made any relationship or had any conversation with him. He asked me if I had a Metal Detector, and after a brief chat I was engaged in a quest for a fair sized treasure.

Friday 1:00PM

I set off with ‘Manuel’ and ‘Javier’ (This guy believes in mystic things and stuff like that) to a little town 15km from where I live, The target was a very old house, the walls were made with mud and stone. It is supposed to have more than 150 years old.

The story is that the aunt (who died 60 years ago) of the owner used to stash money in the walls and floor of the old house. It is supposed to be ‘Centenarios’ (Mexican 50 Pesos of Gold, which is a 21k big coin worth 800-900 dollars each). Javier already marked 5 spots that he pointed with radiestesic (don’t know how is that spelled) sticks and pendulum. I turned on my GTI2500 and started scanning, I was in coin discrimination mode, and got some erratic signals and thus unable to pinpoint or lock-on any target. Then Javier told me to wait a minute, and he took some herbs and used holy water and started to sprinkle it all over the place while he was mumbling something… the he said, please continue… believe me or not, but what was once erratic, became clear signals at 4 and 6 inches deep within the 14 inch thick walls. So we confirmed 4 spots. But I had to come back to work, so we decided to return next day.

Saturday 5:30PM

We arrived to the place mentioned before, now I had an extra detector, it is a Bounty Hunter’s Landstar. Not a big deal, but it has proven useful to confirm targets. So, I had the idea of confirming again the already marked spots, and guess what!? They were gone! Nothing, they simply vanished! I was in shock, I now know how to use my GTI, I confirm my targets in many ways and I’ve been successful with my methods, but this… 4 spots confirmed and now none!? Then ‘Manuel’ said, ‘They’ moved them… What you mean THEY moved them??? As a skeptic, I paid no attention to this nonsense and started detecting again… I got another 4 spots, in different locations but same readings and depth, which I confirmed now with the GTI and the Landstar, BOTH detectors gave almost the same readings. We marked and started hammering and guess what again? NOTHING! Not even a single piece of metal, I’ve examined every rock and the dirt that fell with the MDs and the Vibraprobe and there was simply nothing that could gave the signals I was receiving before hammering.

Javier told me that we got nothing because a brother of the owner arrived and he wasn’t expected to be there, so the entities that guard the treasure where unpleased and hid the treasure from us. *just picture my face when I was hearing that*

Ok, this is just beyond me, but it remains the fact of what I lived and experienced. If someone else told me this, I would take it as a joke or a superstitious tale. It is important to state that this quest took place in a very old house, there are no big power lines, no technology (wireless, computers or any other similar device).

Anyone has any knowledge, notes, links, experiences or anything shareable about this topic? This is the second time in my MDing experience that I stumble on something like this and I want to know what is going on! ;-)

Thanks in advance
