Good for you for getting out! Yesterday would've a good day to go out and I was sure wishing. Is it snowing up your way again? It's been raining and spitting snow off and on all day here in central IL. I have high hopes for next weekend. I'm wanting to ditch a family wedding and go MDing but the park I want to go to is right by the event. Maybe I'll ditch the wedding and shoot the backyard.

I'm glad to see I'm not the only IL person who got stuck inside this weekend. I may try to get out today it's supposed to be 55 with a chance of rain. At least the ground will be soft!!!

LOL Bj1, I already sent my regrets for the wedding next weekend. Maybe I'll hit the park I want to visit on the following weekend. I'm in the center of the state, near Clinton.

BouseHouse, I just ordered my Ace 250 from Tony yesterday so I'm hoping I might have it next weekend - didn't ask what the shipping time is, but I expect having the machine by next weekend might be pushing it. I would be envious of you being out today but it's too danged windy out there for my liking. It's pretty chilly on the prairie today!

Oh, I didn't really need a detector today anyway. I walked outside to annoy the wild cats and sitting next to the sidewalk was what you see pictured below. I swear I could hear it mocking me! Saying, "Hah! Detector? I spit on your detector! ptooie! You might get me today but there will be 12 thousand more out here to take my place." Sadly, I fear that may be true.

It is good to see that I'm not the only one that is stuck in the cold. This last snow really had me bummed, but at least it melted off fast. I was able to get out a little this weekend and get some clad, not much, but at least I got out.

I see you said you were in Norther Illinois...Whereabouts? I am in Kenosha, Wisconsin, and grew up in Illinois.

Best of luck.

Eric
