Hey,Butch.I have a GTI2500 and it does go deep, however,it has a large learning curve that I have not mastered yet.Everyone tells me tho, that it will happen. It can be used anywhere. It does have some weight to it but not so much that it bothers me.the batteries can be hip mounted and it does have several coils to choose from.I don't know anything about the F75.I think the jury is still out on it.It's made by First Texas under Fisher's name. They make the Bounty Hunters and the Tecnetics(T2).I know the T2 is a great machine but has trouble around power lines and salt.It is lighter.Go to this site and scroll down on the left and you'll find the Fisher and Garrett forums where the real users talk about them and you can ask questions.Goodluck.
