Lowrance are supposed to be the best at getting a good signal under adverse conditions. There have been times I've been down in between two ridges and under heavy foliage it's hard to keep a good reliable signal. Although, the signal strength seems to have increased since I bought my GPS. The reason I say that... it used to be I could never get any satellites to lock on if I turned my GPS on in the house. Now I can. I use a Garmin ETrex Legend.

Default Just Bought one myself

I picked up a Garmin 76CSX ....have a 2 Gig memory card along with City Navigator and Topo...

This is an awesome Unit.... I've never Owned a GPS unit before... So I'm learning tooo...

I chose this unit because I do a Bit of everything... Fishing,Hunting,Hiking,Boating etc..

This Baby Floats.....

So when your on your boat or Jumping over rocks across the Stream Beds you don't have to worry about dropping it and losing your Hard earned money that you spent on a GPS unit.....

I live in Colorado , "Springs" and when I turn this unit on in my Home
It locks onto 11 sat's Yes 11 ......

Hate to be out camping , fishing or whatever and then all of a sudden you get hit by a Rain storm....... and it Ruins your GPS... Think about it..
