Default Garrett gti 2500 vs Tesoro Deleon Rant

Hi all, I just finished testing my Garrett Gti 2500 against my Tesoro Deleon. After doing several test in my garden, i have to say i'am very dissapointed with the Garrett and iam selling it as fast as i can. What a waste of money and my arm hurts now .I tried several modes only to be let down. I had the settings maxed out at zero discrim and could only find half the coins with the Garrett. I needed the Tesoro to find all the coins otherwise i would of had to rake up the garden. The coins were all over 5 inches some flat some on there sides. Not even a beep for the ones on there sides with the Garrett. I am glad they sent me some Garrett kleenex in my package deal so i can now clean off the dirt and sell it.

Default Hi Peal190

Was going to get a 2500 when I sold my DFX but figured I was just swapping one set of whistles & bells for another. Read alot of reviews and both seem to be You love them or Hate them. They both have a bigger learning curve than alot of other machines so I guess it all boils down to what your comfortable with. I'd rather have a few knobs to set than all the whistles & bells & programing that goes with it. Thats just me. A matter of Preference for sure. I figure the right machine in the right hands is a beautiful thing that can be an awesome adversary to dirt & sand so it's the person behind the machine that makes it go or not. As for myself I Love my Tesoro Vequero, Half the weight, Half the price, Lifetime warranty & I'm doing better on finds than I ever did with my DFX. Also have a Wilson Coin Select & White's Surfmaster PI. I look at it like anyone with a detector has a two control-box setup, one control box on the detector shaft & one sittin right in the middle of your shoulders. When you can find one ( no matter what it is ) to fall in sync with the other then your good to go. Just my Humble Opinion. Good Luck & HH.
