Default Tonight sucked!!!!!LOL

I decided to head back to the City where that park is that I hit the other night.I put my White's 6000 Di Series 3 on the internet for sale today and I got a call about it.I talked to a lady who said her husband was looking for one for him and his son so I told her I would meet him in that City I was heading too.Well on the way there I was traveling on US 23S when I noticed a dog run out into the road in the path of the car in front of me.That driver slammed on his brakes and swerved into the other lane to miss the dog when his car fishtailed and next thing I know he is sideways right in front of me doing 60+ MPH.It was like watching a Nascar Race with the in car camera when there is a sliding car in front. All I could do is hit the gas and drive through it.By the grace of God his car kept sliding and I was lucky and missed the rear of his car.He ended up on the shoulder of the road facing the other way. There was NO way I was able to stop during or after.Thankfully one of the many cars behind us stopped to check on the driver.Oh yeah, the dog came out of this unscathed.Don't ask me how because I seen that whole dog's body disappear in front of that car before he swerved. That dog is very lucky. My truck was full of the smell of burning rubber for the rest of my trip. There was no way I cold have swerved around that car because my Blazer would've rolled for sure.Anyways, got to town and meet the gentleman and his son and after demostrating the detector for him he purchased it.Well wouldn't you know it,in came a storm with very heavy rain so I headed back home.Didn't want another night knelling in the mud and water again digging targets. So,how was your night???

Default Hi paulB

We'll my night wasn't nearly as exciting as your for sure. Glad to hear You, the dog and the other driver walked away OK. As far as my night went, well the Maytag repairman is having a ball compared to me. Not that it's a bad thing and come to think of it, after hearing your story I feel much better now. Good Luck, HH, & Great driving on your part.

Default Driving Incidents/accidents/treasure Hunting

Many of us have near-misses driving on our crazy freeways either going to work or to treasure hunt sites! Sometimes we need to get off our Merry-Go-Round and get on our knees and thank God for his protection and to pray for the many who have suffered loss of life and critical injuries! A close friend of mine recently lost his wife of 27 years in a severe automobile Accident up in Oklahoma City! Something like this snaps one back into reality and makes one realize what truly are our gifts here on Earth and how we can help others! For only God knows, how many days that we have numbered!!!........Sorry for being so SERIOUS..............but this is fresh and alive in my mind...............Joe
