Default Kevlar Gloves

Kevlar gloves are no where near as bulky as leather gloves. they are even more comfortable than a good set of garden gloves. I get mine from grainger supply. i dont know if lowes carries them or not. they are made with the same material bullet proof vest are made of. they are not puncture proof but they are very puncture resistant. and its even hard to cut em with a razor blade. i use them at work (i do maintenance at a national chain motel) when i replace carpeting because i dont want a needle or razor blade some junkie dropped to either cut me or stick me. they are a lil pricey but worth every penny in my book.

Cool X-acto knife with chisel point

I got a strong hit in a corner of the wood chip area. Found intact knife with point up. I have it on my desk as I do this response.

Some may not know what an X-acto knife is, it is a razor blade knife simular to a pencil in size. Often these blades are as sharp as any surgical instrument.
Also 4" Wood Screws in sand from workers assembling wooden fort playground equip.
Lot's of broken glass "Beer" bottles. Punk's is my best guess.
I have had people ask what I found and when I drag out glass, screws or nails I normally get a thank you for looking out for kids I don't even know.
Once a lady even wished me a gold ring. My wife is wearing it now. I found it that day!
We here in the Dallas area have had some trouble with gangs burning down some of the playground equipment because another gang hangs there at night. Even though time and alcohol restrictions are in place they are loosly observed, and even more loosly enforced.

No doubt there should be more police action on this type of activity.
