Default What's the worst item you have found in a tot lot???????

Last week while detecting a local tot lot I came across a big, rusty razor blade.I don't believe it was there by accident. After reading the story of the person that put drain cleaner on the slide that burned that child...I was wondering what's the worst you have removed from a playground???

Default Wow

I hadn't heard of the Slide incident. How SAD! Thats really Great that you found that razor blade, Most likely you have prevented some little child from getting hurt. Now thats a really Good incentive to check out the tot Lots. May not find any coins or trinkets but could prevent a tragedy. I have never found aything on that level. The worst I ever found was a bottle cap that said " Sorry, Try Again " Felt like someone knew I came there now & then and placed it and was now hiding some place close by with a big smirk on there face. Thanks for the heads up on possible dangers around the tot lots.

Sunday I picked up quite a lot of broken Corona bottles. Idiots. I guess I'm going to have to put a little broom and dust pan in my gear kit because I had to borrow those items from my aunt (she lived across from the park) to get the tiny bits.

Thanks, Paul. I'm sure everyone here would have done the same thing.

I wonder if that razor blade was lost when someone was uh, breaking up some powder. That would make sense if it was a single edged blade. No matter how it got there, it's a dangerous thing in a tot lot and I'm glad you found it.
