Default I Have One Major Problem With Detecting

TIME! You need to go to a place at the right time. Let me give you an example. This Saturday is the Air and Sea Show at Sunrise but the problem is that I will not go with everyone there because it is hard to detect like that. That Sunday morning my wife has to go to work at 7 A.M. till 2 P.M. so I cannot go then either. Then on Monday I have to go to work early as well. I might be able to detect like 1 week after the show. Will it be worth it. Will the other detectors find everything or most everything before I can arrive because I do see some of them around the area? thanks.

Default Smartfox

They won't get everything and besides they just may be getting rid of some trash that you won't have to deal with. Sometimes NOT being First is being Smart as a Fox.

oh i agree but in relic hunting i spot a field or a spot. i can work it hard. if they wernt there there aint no relics. a little iron junk. but i hit a field last fall that was so clean it was scary. thought my md was messed up.
hit it again with another md. and in all metal nothing. a few pieces of broken horseshoes at 12". so ya never know. now schools, parks, old house sites allways produce something good.

Whenever I start asking myself questions like that I recall a quote from the movie Bull Durham..
"Don't think Meat, just throw the ball.."

Default Thanks

You guys are right. Tinman you have a great point. I probably will not get a chance this weekend but Next weekend I will have a chance to go out there and hunt for a while.
I have a lot of faith in my machine. Eventhough I have only been using it seriously for about 1 year when I get a chance maybe about 20-25 hunts I have found 2 kids rings and tons of change. Next Saturday If I wake up early I might hit the Beach at Sunrise then after that hit the catholic school again. now that I think about it the school is not that far from sunrise beach kill 2 birds with one stone anyways it is so much terrain to cover that no one can find everything at the beach.
I might have a chance to sneak out late saturday but it is unlikely. Then Sunday I am getting everything ready for my job at school on Monday.

I will let you know if something goes on. The worst that could happen is this week end I might try detecting around the neighborhood. THANKS EVERYONE

Default Not To Mention

Parking will be way cheaper 1 week after the air and sea show than while it is going on
