Default Jewelers loop

I want to get a jewelers loop but not sure where to get it. I can find them on e-bay but was hopping to find them local. Anyone have an idea?

If you're gonna buy one on-line, certainly look to the site sponsors. If you just want to get one locally, try your local photography shops. Loupes are used a great deal by us old-fashioned film finatics!

Thumbs up Jewelers loop

Try your local hobby shop, coin/stamp shop, photo shop and maybe the local Ace Hardware store (they surprise me with what they carry) or the "specialty tool store".

maybe call a local mom and pop jewelry store and ask if they know of a local source. They may even have an old one they would offer to sell for a few bucks.
I also read somewhere an old style movie projector lense works and could be picked up at garage sale or online inexpensivley if you get lucky. Have not tried this myself....

Not sure about MN, but we have weekly swap meets here in southern california. There are sure to be booths that sell that sort of item. Other than that, I would definitely try a photography shop.
