Default Do You Guys Ever

Get everything set up so you can just get up early, do not bother anyone else at home sleeping and just go?
That's what I am going to do today. I am going to get the battery all charged, get the detector in the trunk and have everything set up so all I have to do is get up like at 5 am and leave to the beach. Will be detecting at the air and sea show that happened 1 week ago then going to the catholic school. My friend is going to open the school for me at 9 am. If I do not find anything valuable I am going to have a great workout. I will let you know about my finds later tomorrow or sunday.

Default technically

I should be able to find something good. People are basically almost mounded on top of each other, drinking alcohol. Probably some other detectorists already found something but I think there is still a lot to find out there. ANY ADVICE WOULD BE APPRECIATED. THANKS.

Default Good luck

Good luck on your morning hunt.. Best advice is dig everything.. Be sure you have a scoop at the beach or a good sifter. That sand can be tricky. Best to try to catch the beach at low tide if possible because lots of stuff gets taken with it when it rolls out.. Be sure you search near the restrooms if accessible.. Lots of folks get in a hurry and drop stuff there and by the public showers.. Since they are normally inebriated, several don't notice until later that they lost their pocket change, jewelry and stuff.

Scout your beaches in advance and make mental notes where the crowds congregate at.. Especially near and around the vendors that sometimes set up on the beach selling food and stuff.

Good luck to you and I hope to see your finds posted..

James

Default I detected for 6 hours yesterday

Did something stupid. Without thinking about it after my detecting I just put all my coins into the money bucket. I forgot to count how much money I got. At the sea show I did not find much at all but at the catholic school I did find a lot of change mostly quaters. I did find a 14 k earring and my first deceny wheatie from 1918. Now for the first time I put all my change in a bucket with detergent and water.
