I have only been a part of this site for a very short time but I wanted everyone to know how important it has become to me. I have wanted a metal detector for a couple of years now but somehow "life" kept getting in the way and then my doctor told me I had to get some exercise and since I am no gym rat and I hate the treadmil I decided this was a way to stay motivated.
You see I am a juevenile diabetic and so I wear an insulin pump which is great compared to shots. But, juevenile diabetes comes with another complication that I learned about the hard way, it is an immune disease. Which means that everytime I get around anyone sick or kids I get whatever is going around. I try never to feel bad for myself because I know I have it good I have medicine and I can still get up and go. There are times though that it gets tough, like this past week I have had strep and can't go out much less MD and that is where you guys make my life great.
This site is a great source of happiness for me. I get to laugh and enjoy the treasures and photos, and the sense of Family that goes on here. You guys are the best. Thank you for this wonderful site and amazing people.

So many people that have medical problems just give up on themselves and life in general.

I bet you enjoy every minute you can get out & do something too. Btw,I took your advice on the Sampson shovel & ordered one from Chuck. Hope it is as good & sturdy as you said it was............hang tough!

I am so glad you joined TQ. I will keep you in my prayers. This is an awesome site. Due to mding I lost 30 pounds and no longer have bp problems. Not only a great hobby, it's good for your health. Hope you Stay strong.
