Got to go out for a couple hours this weekend, got some rain so i could leave the jackhammer at home...lol.. Anyways it was fun to get out and do some mding.
Went down the road to an old school and came up with 10 Quarters
7 Dimes
9 pennies
1 kids ring
1 mini padlock
1 hat pin
Boy it sure was fun.......

With the ground being so hard it makes it tough to dig them low tones...work your butt off to get a plug out and find the ole pull tab!!!! i think that is why i don't find alot of nickles....

You know, when I was in KY I was wondering if I watered the ground before I dug if that would make any difference. There are a bunch of rocks in that Western KY soil, too, that make it really hard to dig. Fortunately everything here in SoCal is watered every day, so it's easy. Anything not in a park or school ground is like diggin' marble.
