to finally get to hunt . I had to return the detector that I bought because the darned thing would not turn on no matter how many ways I tried to turn the batteries, reposition them sing to them, beg them, or whatever. Well then Tony was gracious to let me send it back but by the time I got the replacement back after having gone out of town I was under a surgeon's knife for a frozen shoulder after an injury that I suffered. I am now reading these great posts on a daily basis drooling about hunting soon. It should be another week or so but after that I will be the hunting warrior ready to conquer any relics or pull tabs that come my way. Wish me luck!

Hopefully swinging the detector will be the perfect therapy for your shoulder.

Actually I will hopefully be able to do that as I already have a pully I have to attach to a door to work my shoulder, What could be better than a MD to work it out! Thanks for the good wishes!

Wishing you a quick recovery.... but don't push it too much. Be sure that when you get out swinging a coil you pay attention to your body. You wouldn't want a repetetive motion injury to ad to the mix!
