HEADING TOWARD GRAND RAPIDS on Saturday............

.....................just wanted to say hello to everyone in my path..........Texarkana...............Little Rock..............Memphis.............St. Louis.............Chicago...................South Bend............Holland...........And finally Grand Rapids. Mapquest says that it will take about 19 hours but I expect it to take 24 or more hours. Me and my youngest son has never been this far North before...........so we are really excited. Besides everything else.............I'm packing my AT4 and 4900D. I'm planning on hunting some of the beautiful Lake Michigan beaches. I was also told that the water is a lot colder than what I am use to................these changes sound Good!! Not sure of what internet accomodations that I will have or not have ............so communications might be sketchy for the next week or so!!............HAPPY VACATION to all............Joe

Chicago->South Bend->Holland. I assume South Bend is a detour as it would be a tad out of your way.

Good luck - my MD'ing skills have blown in MI, may be a one day youper (Menominee) for me next weekend.

....................my truck's A/C went out plus I had a dream that we had Battery Problems on the road!
