Default Howdy folks...

Hi all -

I bet you guys thought I'd died and gone to the Giant Unhunted Closed Drive-In In the Sky... Nope, still here, just been a lot of water under the bridge... Haven't hunted in almost a year - detector went kaput, and no $ for a new one... hoping to change that soon, though... thinking of going with one of the new Fisher machines... anyone have any feedback on that? Any cool finds lately?

Anyway, I'm here at work, so I'll be in and out all day... hope to hear from y'all!

Robert

Hey, thanks all!

When did BH buy out Fisher?! Is that why the new F Series looks like it does? Did they have anything to do with the Coinstrike, perchance? That was the one I was looking at - and as far as it matters, I've been hunting for the last couple of years with a BH anyway, so it might not make any difference (as long as it still has Fisher depth...)

And I read back somewhere that Austin (Texas) parks and such are now off-limits?! Hadn't come across that either... darn... I've never had a problem hunting them before, but hey, who knows now...

Post Welcome back.

Nice to have you back Robert. I didn't know about BH buying Fisher either! I am partial to Minelab myself, but Garret and Whites rank up there as well and Tesoro has achieved a great reputation too. Others I'm not up on.

Joe
