I think I got one hooked!

Hello everyone,

I too k my neighbor boy out with me yesterday. He has never been metal detecting before this. He was getting a little frustrated because all he was finding was the usuall junk you would find, pull tabs, cans, nails, etc. He was about to give up when he got a signal. He was going to keep right on going when I told him to dig it because it sounded like a pretty good signal.

Well, we started digging the plug and popped it out. He moved the plug back and forth on the coil and it beeped, so he found a couple of pennies in the plug. I told him then to recheck his hole everytime before he puts the plug back in and walks away. Anyway, to make a long story short, he ended up finding 38 pennies in that one hole. I never seen someone so excited about 38 pennies before in my life. It was aweome!!!

I believe he is a new treasure hunter. I am supposed to go with Harry and Boobie next weekend to a do some water hunting. He asked if he could go detect the beach. So, Harry and Boobie, We might have another one on our trip.
