Default The MD Bug May Have Bit Today!

Today I was able to get out of the house to a nearby town to metal detect with a good buddy of mine. He has a very cheezy detector that I would discard if it was given to me. If it wasn't for large trash pieces, he wouldn't have found anything with it. The detector was purchased quite a many years ago by his father in hopes of recovering his mothers wedding band (still yet to be found). Anyways, we went to the nearby town (since the rain wasn't falling there) and hit the city park. My friend wasn't doing well at all so I told him to run to my truck and grab the Ace 250. He did and was able to find a few clad coins - the first time he was able to really find something with a metal detector. That is when he started inquiring about the detector and how much it costs, etc. I believe he is about to make a purchase soon on an Ace 250; time will tell. And if he does, I will have a great metal detecting buddy - along with my daughter, of course.

Default New Buddy

I think you have created a new buddy to hunt with. I think that it is so much fun to hunt with someone so you can compete to see who has the better finds. lol

Looooooong story, but my buddy will not be joining TQ anytime soon. Only clue I will give is that he does not have internet access at his place.
