Default If it wasn't for bad luck...

Hi Everyone,
Well I went to start that old Kean house property the other day. The one I mentioned earlier that was moved like 20 yrs. ago. I drove over there and there is a crew there with a back hoe. It turns out they were starting an "archeological dig". I asked if I could detect the area while they were there. I told them I wouldn't even dig it just mark the spots where I got a tone. They called the new owners of the property who happened to be a banking chain and was denied.
That was a little fishy to me so I did a little digging through some work contacts (I'm a private investigator) and found out the historic society wouldn't raise a fuss about them putting a branch there if no historic pieces were found on the property.
Of all the luck...
That lots been empty for twenty years and the day I'm finally able to try it out .
I'll tell you somedays I think Murphy makes overtime pay on me.
Sorry for the ramble just had to get it off my chest.

Default That Stinks!!

That's a lousy hand to be dealt...for you and your community. I'm amazed at the attitude of the historical society - around here they won't let you breathe outside for fear of sucking in historical oxygen! Like they honestly believe the building crew will report any findings....yeah, right!

I think I'd be tempted to sneak back there after everyone had gone home...but I guess that's against the rules.

Try approaching the Historical society and offer a free search,
as it would be a shame to loose precious Artefacts.
Keep your fingers crossed whilst asking.
GOOD LUCK

Tuff luck indeed. I'd do what Anna said. Sounds like your only chance.

Sorry to here that Murphy is a part of your life just like mine. That blows my mind that a Historical Society would Pass up the chance to recover some artifacts! Sounds like Someone's Wheels are getting Greased. Better Luck next Time.

Good Luck & HH
