Default Just got hit...

by a whopper of a hailstorm!!! It was unbelievable. One minute it's 95+ degrees and sunny, the next the sky turns black, lightening and thunder out the whazoo, and hail the size of marbles. My hubby was working on a house a few miles away and all they got was a little rain. He still thinks I'm lying about the hail!

UPDATE: just check the weather channel...turns out it was a tornado ripping through. Glad I didn't know that half an hour ago!

Say safe and keep your eyes to the skies. Tornados are nothing to make lite of, they can be very violent and destructive in the blink of an eye. When the sky gets black and the wind blows, head for the basement with your weather radio and trusty flashlight. On the lighter side MDing is better after a rain, the machine's penetrate deeper in moist ground.

I was just in a hailstorm a half an hour ago outside Easton PA. Dented the hell out my truck. Keep your head down and stay safe.

Glad you's are OK. We want to hear from You NOT About You ! That hail really, really Hurts. I got caught one time on my bike on the Highway and Thank God there was an overpass about a half mile down the road but that was the longest half mile I ever drove. Once again, Glad You's are OK !

Yes, we're all okay...thanks for all the concern. Lost electric for just a few minutes, which was strange. We're out in the "boonies" and usually lose electric if someone sneezes.

No - didn't happen to be MD'ing at the time...haven't been able to get outside and hunt for a week now, am going through major withdrawal!! Will try and fit some in today...but the sky is looking dark, figure it'll rain before I get the chance.
