Default Explored attic of 100 year old School

They are changing the roof on the local school and my wife had to open the school for the workers. They wanted to look at the roof from the attic so I set up a ladder and went up with them. The School is at least 100 years old. I've been trying to find out exactly but have not yet. From the attic you can see part of the old chimmneys that were blocked off on the last roof change I'm guessing in the 50's(slate roof). Nothing else very interesting. Full of Owl and Pigon Poop. I know because through the years they had problems with both of them.

This is the first place I detected when I bought my Ace so I had about an hour and a half and tried again with the sniper coil. $4.65 in clad with 2 wheaties in a small area I detected 3 months ago. Don't know if it's the coil or 3 months of experience or both that made the difference but had to get back home to continue working on the 67 Firebird engine installation. Later

What kind of engine is that?

It's a 1970 LT1 Corvette engine. I know it's a Pontiac car but it had a Chevy drive train when I got it. Double hump heads with tons of work done to them.

Hi Kentfb

Try going back with your standard coil now and see what you find.
I have been going to this park near me and find lots of Moderen coins and one gold ring. I thought I had cleaned the place out but I went back to day without my sniper. I put back on the standard coil and with more depth, got more coins and three rings. The rings look like kid rings but no matter. It speaks loads for the 6x9 coil that came with my Ace 250

Regards
Robert

Took a 30 minute break from motor installation and went next door to my brothers house. It was my Dad and Moms house built in 1950. Did a little area where the cloths line use to be and found 3 wheaties.(44, 49 and 52). Back to work. Should fire up the bird tomorrow evening. (fingers crossed)
